💔 OUR BEAUTIFUL BROTHER HAS BEEN FOUND 💔

Yesterday, our search for our beautiful brother came to the most devastating end imaginable.

We found him. Sadly, he had passed away.

Writing those words doesn’t feel real. After days of searching, hoping, praying and desperately holding onto the belief that we were going to bring him home, our whole world has changed forever.

He wasn’t just a “missing person”.

He was our brother. A dad. A partner. A son. A friend. A person who was deeply, deeply loved.

Behind every photograph that was shared and every appeal that went out was a whole circle of people desperately trying to bring someone they loved home.

His children have lost their dad. His girlfriend has lost the man she loves. A dad has lost his son. We have lost our brother. And his friends have lost someone they loved just as deeply as we did.

There are so many hearts broken by his loss, and there is a space in so many people’s lives now that nobody else could ever fill.

Whatever battles he may have been facing, they do not define the person he was.

We will remember his face, his voice, his laugh, the memories we made, the stupid things only families and close friends understand, the good times, the difficult times and everything that made him him.

We would also like to say the biggest thank you imaginable to every single person who helped us.

To those who physically searched, shared his photograph thousands of times, checked CCTV and dashcam footage, offered drones and equipment, sent information, travelled to help, supported our family, brought supplies, sent messages, prayed, hoped and simply refused to give up on him — thank you.

There are no words big enough for what that meant to us.

We know people are still sharing the appeal and sending possible sightings because they haven’t yet heard the news. Please know that we are incredibly grateful, but the search has now ended and he is no longer missing. We kindly ask that missing-person appeals are no longer shared and that possible sightings are no longer sent to the family.

We also ask, more than anything, for kindness and respect now — particularly for his children and those closest to him. Please don’t speculate about what happened or share information that has not come directly from our family or the authorities. There are children who may see what is written online about their dad.

Right now, we need time to grieve privately and somehow begin to understand how life carries on after this.

I don’t know whether you ever truly knew just how many people loved you or how many people were out there looking for you.

But I hope somehow you know now.

We searched for you.

We never gave up on you.

We found you.

And now we will carry you with us for the rest of our lives.

You are no longer missing, our beautiful brother.

You are loved.

You are found.

And you will never, ever be forgotten. 🤍
