Hi, Rob Jones here, I set up Veterans Breakfast Crewe.
We work with various groups like SSAFA and the Veterans community within Cheshire,Lancashire. We work with Veterans who's needs are complex from all ages and their families we run a safe area allotment with no rules just chill, relax, chat shit, work on things we like to grow, we change lives from existing to living, we get very little support from charities as there's too many hurdles, we work in the community to raise funds and sell prduce.

BEACON UPDATE: FOUND PASSEDThis Beacon Alert has been marked found passed. Our thoughts are with everyone affected.

It's with incredible sadness that we update you, Alex "JJ", from Cannock has been found passed. Alex was reported missing on 22 August, sparking a massive response, with police, search and rescue teams, and volunteers carrying out multiple specialist ground searches. Cannock Police have confirmed that 33-year-old Alex was found yesterday (Friday 28 August) on Cannock Chase. His death is not being treated as suspicious. Our thoughts are with Alex's family and friends at this difficult time.

Did you know you can send direct messages, tag other members, link to topics and share pages, by using the following shortcuts:

An "@" at the beginning of a message will send a direct message.

An "@" anywhere else in the message will tag a user.

A "#" will link your post to a topic in the sidebar, and a "*" will let you share a page!

You can be reminded of these shortcuts at any time on the Shortcuts page :)

Hi all.
I’m Hampshire-based and have been sharing Beacons for a long time. The system has also helped me be found before the worst happened. It's an amazing service.

BEACON ALERT: MISSING SERVICE PERSONRyan Rudd, 28, from Selby, is missing with serious concerns for his welfare. He was last seen the early hours of Sunday 15 February. North Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal and are actively searching for Ryan, after he failed to return home or to his barracks in Catterick Garrison when expected. Ryan was last seen at the New Inn in Selby in the early hours of Sunday 15 February after going on a night out with two friends on Valentine’s night. Since then he has been out of contact with family, friends and colleagues we are very concerned for his safety. Ryan is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with dark brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black t-shirt, blue hooded top and black trousers. CCTV images in this post show Ryan on the night he was last seen. Anyone who may have seen him in Selby on 14/15 February or has seen him since then, or has any information that might help locate him, should contact North Yorkshire Police as a matter of urgency.
