Dialling 112 or 999 from your mobile uses built in tech called Advanced Mobile Location (AML), this enables your phone to send a hidden secure text with your exact coordinates to the emergency services.
AML can pinpoint your location to a few metres if you're outside.

Now his dad, Paul, has asked the pub to display a Newcastle United shirt signed by Liam’s family and friends.
